Cruise & multi-bag luggage
4 large suitcases + 4 carry-ons doesn't fit a saloon — Uber XL is a guess, the Tube is stairs and escalators. Estate, MPV-7 or MPV-8 sized to the actual luggage.

Yes — Estate boot floor or any MPV class fits 180 cm ski bags flat. For 4 sets of skis plus boot bags plus the family's suitcases, book an MPV-7 or MPV-8. Mention "skis" at booking and the driver knows to bring a vehicle with the right boot layout. Uber XL drivers in London routinely refuse ski bags at the kerbside.
How do I transport a surfboard from Heathrow to Cornwall (or anywhere)?+
Long-board bags up to 260 cm fit diagonally in an MPV-8 or Minibus-12. For shortboards we can also fit a roof rack on request. Wetsuits and rash vests stow with normal luggage. Black cabs and Uber XL physically cannot carry a long-board; we routinely do this for surf-camp groups heading to Newquay, Devon, and Wales.
Are the child seats really free?+
Yes — infant (rear-facing, 0–13 kg), toddler (forward-facing, 9–18 kg) and booster (high-back or cushion, 15–36 kg) seats are all FREE on request, no per-seat charge, no booking minimum. Driver fits them before pickup so you don't spend airport time on car-park assembly. Bring nothing from home.
What is the largest vehicle you can supply for a single transfer?+
A 12-seater Minibus from £180 for Heathrow → Central London. For groups of 13+ we run 16, 24, 33, 49 and 53-seat coaches via our [coach hire service](/coach-hire-london) — driver included, quoted on request, popular for wedding-party shuttles, sports teams, school trips and corporate offsites.
Is an Executive class actually different from Uber Black?+
Yes. Uber Black is on-demand — the vehicle assigned varies trip to trip; the driver is whoever's nearest. Our Executive class is an allocated booking: specific Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5-Series equivalent, professionally dressed driver, bottled water, on-board Wi-Fi, quiet cabin. Same fixed price quoted at booking. For a long-haul arrival or important corporate pickup, the consistency matters.
How does the price compare to Uber XL for the same trip?+
Without surge, Uber XL Heathrow → central London is roughly £75–95. Our MPV-6 is £85 fixed. The decisive difference is surge: peak Sunday evenings and big sporting events routinely push Uber XL to £140–180. Our price never moves once you've booked. Over a single trip the savings are inconsistent; over a return + airport family booking, our fixed price typically wins.
Can I add a stop on the way — Stonehenge, Windsor, an outlet shopping centre?+
Yes — multi-stop with waiting time is standard. Heathrow → Stonehenge (90-min visit) → Windsor (60-min visit) → Southampton is one of our most-booked sightseeing transfers. Fixed price by vehicle class. Uber and Bolt have no multi-stop-with-wait product.
